
FR3 Drone RID Reader is a fixed-installation drone detection system equipped with an integrated UAV management and control platform. By decoding and analyzing Remote Identification (RID) signals actively broadcast by drones, the device can monitor multi-dimensional information within its coverage area, including serial number, drone model, position, flight path, and pilot location.
The device is suitable for low-altitude security applications in scenarios such as political core zones, border security, military restricted zones, military management areas, power and petrochemical facilities, and airports. It supports standalone offline operation for flexible and rapid deployment with mobile responsiveness, meeting diverse scenario requirements. It can also be networked with other equipment—including TDOA devices, countermeasure systems, and deception devices—to form a more comprehensive low-altitude defense network.
Note: This device is only effective for drones that are equipped with RID broadcasting capability and have it enabled.
The product mainly consists of four parts : main unit, RF antenna, power adapter, and mounting bracket — as shown in the table below:
